Hi all. Never have time to be here much, but I do read and lurk from time to time. My observations lead me to say that Soviet era Pravda would be proud of some of you. Nazis? Hitler? Fascist? Not even close. If Trump had any intent being any of these things, he would have done so already. Nobody in our government would stand for it, nor his cabinet, nor would I. Seems anything the left of these days doesn't like is Nazi, Fascist, threat to Democracy, etc. The truth of the matter is that the Democrats destroyed everything they touched and now the country is under reconstruction or being repaired. Biden admin broke it. Trump admin is fixing it. The last good Democrats have joined the Repubs. It has become painfully clear that someone other than Biden was running the country into the ground. The reason Democrats feel the need to resist is because its all they have. Trump could come out and promote oxygen and out of sheer hate, they would have to quit breathing. This is the dying quiver of a party that has nothing to offer but a bunch of noise. 21 - 28% party approval, depending on which polls you look at. This is a rudderless ghost ship, hauling clown cars with flat tires. What, exactly does the Democratic party have to offer that is better than what we are getting? The 80/20 issues are always gonna be with us, but it seems the Democrats support the 20% stuff that nobody else gives a shit about. Examples: trans people in sports, men in women's sports to be exact. Stupid bass ackwards ideas that look like pure lunacy to everyone else, such as reparations, which I happen to agree with. Let each living slave owner pay each living slave. See how ridiculous that is? Sanctuary cities? Due process? How much due process did we get before our country was invaded. Liberals done went and finally pissed off the bulk of America, hence why we got a change agent for POTUS. This could be a teaching time for some people, but no, many continue to double down on the same stupid shit that doesn't work.
Inflation is slowing. Trade is being balanced. Investment dollars are pouring in. Our borders have been secured. We are getting the bad hombres out of here. eggs are cheaper. America is being returned to the people and governed according to the will of the people, not the whims of the ideologues.
Resist what? The mandate of the American people at large. You will be on the losing end for a long long time, should this idiocy continue. Be honest...many of you hate America and wish it transformed into something completely different. Not sure where this comes from. We have it damn good here! Wanting our President to fail is same as wanting the country to fail.

Question for you. How many of these characteristics fit the US today? Be honest. IMO we are at 14-15.
1. Powerful, often exclusionary, populist nationalism centered on cult of a redemptive, “infallible” leader who never admits mistakes.
2. Political power derived from questioning reality, endorsing myth and rage, and promoting lies.
3. Fixation with perceived national decline, humiliation, or victimhood.
4. White Replacement “Theory” used to show that democratic ideals of freedom and equality are a threat. Oppose any initiatives or institutions that are racially, ethnically, or religiously harmonious.
5. Disdain for human rights while seeking purity and cleansing for those they define as part of the nation.
6. Identification of “enemies”/scapegoats as a unifying cause. Imprison and/or murder opposition and minority group leaders.
7. Supremacy of the military and embrace of paramilitarism in an uneasy, but effective collaboration with traditional elites. Fascists arm people and justify and glorify violence as “redemptive”.
8. Rampant sexism.
9. Control of mass media and undermining “truth”.
10. Obsession with national security, crime and punishment, and fostering a sense of the nation under attack.
11. Religion and government are intertwined.
12. Corporate power is protected and labor power is suppressed.
13. Disdain for intellectuals and the arts not aligned with the fascist narrative. Mussolini Hitler Putin
14. Rampant cronyism and corruption. Loyalty to the leader is paramount and often more important than competence.
15. Fraudulent elections and creation of a one-party state.
16. Often seeking to expand territory through armed conflict.
