Temash will not be in a Surface Pro 2. It always the same rumours isnt it? Apple didnt go with the super good APUs either. It was else a done deal!
Of course it will be. M$ messed up - nobody wants an expensive tablet with 4 hr battery life and that's why intel is out next round.
Thats a shame then since it will be Haswell powered.
Oh btw, this is for you Nemesis -

I just don't see why you think Temash will outperform intels silvermont.
Because of how AMD did the BD hype I won't touch an ATI/AMD gpu . I real happy with my NV cards.
Given how poor was Atom or how much hyped Larabee you shouldnt touch intels CPUs..
Seriously , you are completely out of track....
So your saying that a brazo in games is better than the HD4000 . Thats what your saying. No it isn't even close. We both understand a 10 watt chip doesn't belong in Tablets of the IB type . haswell with soix is a differant story . The thing you not getting MS isn't the same company it was 5 years ago . They no longer control the x86 market . When intel went to apple the hand writing was clear. Intel teaming up with motarola (google ) on phones and tablets further dissolves the wintel alliance. MS world is crumbling . Its about time to.
Maybe because Brazos outperforms the current Atoms at the same TDP - heavily on single threaded cpu, slightly on multithreaded cpu and massively on graphics. As those are the two closest chips, and the successors, we have to both upcoming chips...the real question is why would anyone assume that intel would turn this around?

Seems to offer a 20% improvement over HD4K. But the price, that damn price.
Hence, my interest in Kabini but probably Richland. Is Kaveri supposed to use the same FM2 socket? I know I heard something about a different chipset coming out tho.
Need something easily upgradable. I'm not sure if one can "upgrade" Kabini.
40 EU, it's not going to matter. It'll still be throttled for something sub 18W. Why bother bringing it up?While the throttling of the CPU isn't really noticeable during daily use, the performance of the Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU does not even remotely reach the levels we normally see. We recorded only 293 points for 3DMark 11 and 830 points for the 3DMark Vantage benchmark (performance preset) - about 50 to 70 percent below the values we have come to expect. The reason for the substantial difference is throttling yet again: the GPU doesn't even come close to approaching its maximum clock speed of 1050 Mhz. The net result is that the graphics performance of the GPU is even lower than the one of the predecessor HD Graphics 3000.
You've heard the rumours that Temash is in Microsoft's Surface Pro, right?
AMD failed to provide 'Llano' chip for Apple's MacBook Air because of faulty parts
Former AMD employees revealed that Apple gave its "Llano" chip a "close look" for a new MacBook Air model last year, but ultimately decided not to go with the processor because too many of its parts were faulty, according to a new report.
So your not interested in the 40 eu haswell gpu . Is this correct . Thats great everyone should buy what they want , However linking to an article that mentions the graphics than list the moble tdp and doesn't adderess the g3 graphics core is a hachet job on intel releases and that is a fact, no one knows how many EUs as intel hasn't said but they have talked about the g3 core that your article avoids at all cost .
That will be great news for AMD if they can deliver.
I also remember hearing a rumor that Llano was in Apple MacBook Air too...but then reality got in the way. :|
Nemesis 1, alright, I'll bite. Because I want to upgrade my laptop or get a small PC.
This HD4000 you speak off, which cpu are you refering to? Cause all the tests I seen of Trinity vs HD4000, the HD4K ends up loosing. Do consider the price range.
Yet , the intel part is a 55W SKU compared to a 35W Trinity....
Really great this HD400?0....
There's little reason to think that AMD won't deliver Temash in the numbers that are required. TSMC's 28nm is proven and it's a tiny chip. Had it been glofo then maybe I'd be worried.
