No physical damage was done to the car, so how did the stranger get in?

I have returned!

The stranger was already "there" before the man went for help, right dnetmhz? If so, I think I know it, but won't give away the answer.

welcome back..and yes you're on the right track

The stranger is not a person, but more than likely a poisonous snake or spider which the man never saw.

man this wording is the hardest part of it...

When the day after tomorrow is yesterday: That is three days from now

when the day before yesterday is tomorrow: That is three days also

So the day is Wednesday that is today, but the question is asking for the day after, and that is Thursday.

must kill headache with beer.

This is along the lines of the "saw a table in half, put the two halves together to make a whole, climb through the hole riddle from earlier", so defy logic with this one when solving it:

A man is in a room that has no doors and no windows -- in other words no way to get out. However, he needs to survive for 30 days. All that's in the room is a bed, a calendar, and the table and mirror from before. How does he survive for 30 days?

in thinking about that answer, technically I could be wrong....I am assuming the Sunday start and Saturday end of a week....I am sure this is a US answer and another country may say a different day.

We are little creatures;
all of us have different features.
One of us in glass is set;
one of us you'll find in jet.
Another you may see in tin,
and the fourth is boxed within .
If the fifth you should pursue,
it can never fly from you.
What are we?

Not sure if you're referring to my riddle or the earlier one about tomorrow's tomorrow, etc. If it's mine, it doesn't matter on what day the 30 days starts. He needs to survive for 30 days. Think about a person's needs in order to survive.

The answer is corny (like the table/mirror one), but I heard this one years ago in conjunction with the earlier table and mirror riddle.

He eats that dates from the calendar. I don't know if there's anything more to this.

As I went across the bridge, I met a man with a load of wood which was neither straight nor crooked. What kind of wood was it?

I'll check when I get back..
