The guy is close the end of a bridge and running forward gets him off it quicker!!
Nice.

A man went to a party and drank some of the punch, then
left early. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch
subsequently died of poisoning. Why did the man not die?

What am I?

Full moon?

Actually just the moon. There's a "new moon" every month.

Mind if I give them a hint? I can tie the answer to yours into another riddle I have.

some of these bring back memories....I have a ton of riddle and number books, some very old with a lot of these things in them

If I get some time I will get some good paragraph type ones.

Alot of riddles in general deal in wordplay...when the words are no longer used in day to day language the riddle becomes impossible or just stupid

rock on....

A body was found hanging from a noose in an almost empty room. The ceiling was eight feet high, but the man was only six feet tall. The only things in the room were the noose and a puddle of water. How did the man hang himself?

OK, the noose was looped over something attached to the ceiling, but that's not pertinent to the riddle

hahaha, nice hint. The poison is in the ice. The ice cubes didn't have time to melt when he drank it.

Anyone want to guess the obvious answer to mine now?

What the heck? I thought Goth was going to give a hint, oh well... the icecube is right

The answer to your riddle is essentially the answer to mine:

The man stood on a block of ice in order to get his neck in the noose, then jumped off the ice. Once the body was found, the ice had melted into the puddle of water.

Not a direct correlation between the two, but both involved blocks of ice. Maybe it wasn't such a good hint

If I were to drop a bowling ball in a
bucket of water which is 45 degrees F, and dropped
another ball of the same weight, mass, and size in a
bucket at 30 degrees F, both of them at the same time,
which ball would hit the bottom of the bucket first?

I understood the connection immediately

You didn't specify that the second bucket has any water in it, so I'd say that one.

A snail is at the bottom of a well 30 feet deep. It crawls
up 3 feet each day, but at night, it slips down 2 feet. How long
does it take for the snail to crawl out the well?

The first one would. The water in the 30 degree bucket is frozen so the ball wouldn't go anywhere except bounce off the ice.
