Since it's an electric train, it produces zero smoke, however since I also took a train weekly 2 hours for a girl I was 'seeing' on the weekends for about 8 months I will also say there is smoke always (smoking car before dining car yuck).....even without a smoking car you'd have the baggage guys with a bong in the caboose/last car hiding. Train life is interesting I'd say the least....on the ones I rode, I'd say this should some possible interaction come up....you have about 1-2 empty cars usually to get it out of the way. Only once did I have a train guy come back and break me up saying 'This is a matter of National security....you realize I can have you and her removed and arrested at the next stop...'we went back to our seat and put a blanket over us....yeah it was bad since I was on my way to see another women I was spending the weekend with....
In the case of tabacco and more smokers, smoke would go a little northwest I'd imagine....otherwise without an equipment failure there is no smoke not considering friction smoke somewhere from me on the train.

A horse is tied to a 15 ft. rope and there is a bail of hay 25 ft. away from him. Yet the horse is able to eat from the bail of hay. How is this possible ?
The rope is tied off between the horse and the hay.
That's not the answer I was given, but that is what I first thought also and it works
A scream in a storm,
weightless yet anchored,
a habitat for the living,
a coffin for the dead,
splinters,
and a perfection of the land and sea,
a ruin for evolution.

you are standing outside of a room with a single lightbulb inside. there are 3 switches outside. One of the switches controls the light in the room. The other two don't do anything. The door to the room is closed. you must figure out which turns the light on. You can flick the switches on and off as much as you like. When you are done flicking the switches you can go inside the room and inspect the light.
how?
Look through the window? Look under the door crack?Originally posted by: Rayden

no cheating. and once you go in the room you can't leave to flip the switches again.

Be warned: I do not have the answer to this riddle, a friend of mine told it to me:
A scream in a storm,
weightless yet anchored,
a habitat for the living,
a coffin for the dead,
splinters,
and a perfection of the land and sea,
a ruin for evolution.
