YouTube's really going downhill. Now charging creators in a "Pay to Play" scheme, in order for their videos to be seen.
if i'm not certain of a video link i open in private mode or i end up deleting it from history asap because oh boy does that algorithm screw up my results if i click the wrong videoI use different email addresses on my laptop and my phone. The videos suggested on the phone are beyond awesome and I can easily lose a few hours watching the recommended videos in my feed. The ones on my laptop are plain crap. Most AGT, BGT, X-factor etc. Like come on Youtube dumb algo, suggest something different once in a while. Just coz I watched a few talent show videos a few times, doesn't mean that's all I wanna see. The conspiracy theorist in me says that they care more about their Youtube app users.
Please relate some hilarious instance of the screw upif i'm not certain of a video link i open in private mode or i end up deleting it from history asap because oh boy does that algorithm screw up my results if i click the wrong video
Nah it's just shit like clicking on a daily wire video or a shapiro link or something like that and then the crazy shit starts to appear in suggestions....Please relate some hilarious instance of the screw up

It definitely works. I have a couple accounts for YouTube, one for sort of the MTV experience, and one for general content. At this point, any time I'm uncertain of how a video will impact what the algorithm feeds me, I open it in a private window. The algorithm has gotten progressively worse over the last 5 years Occasionally I'll open one that seems like it will be okay, see the effect on my feed, and go back to delete it from my watch history. You can tidy up your search history too, since that's also a factor, and remove entries from it.Sounds too simple but I've never tried doing this.... pretty sure it can't hurt!

Yeah, and then that 'creator' goes out and build a million dollar state of the art house (not talking Linus here). But, don't forget to support me on Patreon if you like my videos.Don't forget to support on Patreon.

?? Seems to work well enough for me, though I don't often accidentally click on things I've no interest in.
Yeah that kind of works, but then i spend more time clicking not interested or don't recommend channel, it's easier to erase from history or open icognito imo (less work imo)
