You need to narrow your scope a little more than just throwing a couple brand names out there.
Virtually EVERY PSU company has a full breath of product, not just for different levels of users, but for different price points.
Thermaltake has good units... and bad unit. Rosewill has good units... and bad units. Ultra has good units.... and bad units.
You can't really judge ONE PRODUCT by the brand alone.

Rosewill's Psu's are made by ???. Their internals are ??? and their quality is ???. .

The problem is that very few online sites list UL and none tell you what the internals are... so usually brand and in cases of more popular brands family are the only clues you've got.

That's too bad as Newegg is offering great package deals on the Rosewill PSU and Phenom CPU.
