Looking at the book itself, it does seem pretty useless to me as a guy. However, I was not speculating that she had more interesting things to say because she is on TV, I speculated it because she was a stand-up comic for a long time and does a lot of work with children's charities and other such things.
Any time someone berates a celebrity because it's hip to do so, I can't help but roll my eyes. How many people actually know anything about Rosie? I don't particularly enjoy her show or her stand-up acts, but I respect her as I respect any human being who has travelled that much and done so much for charities.
Also, you assume that I was saying that she had legitimate OPINIONS as if I really give a crap what Rosie believes. I give a crap what she might have to say about her life and about her work. I don't know about you, but I haven't done half the stuff she has in her life, and I'd be interested to read what it's like. That's just me though, open minded and what not. I guess people who have closed minds and who buy into hating someone because it's hip should steer away from this free offer.
