Rotater cuff, bicep tendonitis?

I've been playing volleyball lately and getting onto competitive teams but that all came to and end today with some nasty arm/shoulder pain that started last weekend. I don't plan on seeing a doctor about it since I can simply not play for a while and see how things go.

Gonna try out Cissus RX as well since I've been having nasty tendonitis all over from lifting.

The rotator cuff muscles originate along the back of your shoulder blade and ribcage and attach to the head of the humerus right by the shoulder joint. It's much more likely to be a bicep muscle/tendon issue since those muscles span your arm AND shoulder.

I'm fairly confident that it's a tendon just from the type and location of the pain. Something I've dealt with before and I'll deal with now. Just hoping that it fades away so I wont have to see a doc.

What dose are you using? I wonder if I need to go higher since I weigh almost 240.

Interesting... this cissus RX stuff.
Looks to be some kind of herbal rememdy, right?
How's it working out for you all?

BTW, if it's rotator cuff, then supraspinatus tendinitis is common.
If it was supraspinatus tendinitis, are you able to painlessly abduct(arm motion made when making snow angels) your arm after the cissus?

I just started the cissus last night. Starting at 2 a day, one at night one in morning. I'm not in major pain at the moment, barely even slight discomfort, but there is a lot of cracking and popping all through the arm when I move it around.

You should see a doctor imo. While these things, if minor are generally cured with time, it's always good to know how much time and to what type and degree of injury you have. The problem with connective tissue damage is that certain injuries and improper healing/scarring can affect you for the rest of your life. I'm a tennis player (used to be a pitcher and QB in school) with a torn rotator cuff. I figured I'd "take it easy" after every time it hurt. At this point I have damaged it so much that surgery is my only recourse for substantial recovery of movement. I'm not recommending you should seek surgery. Just don't let it go on your own without seeking professional advice (as in a doctor, preferably an orthopedist). I'm sure they will recommend RICE but maybe they will see something that needs more aggressive treatment.

I'm not going to see a doctor. If it hurts at all after a months rest then I wont be playing any volleyball for a very long time. It feels fine today, so we'll see what happens when March rolls around and I try playing again.
