It's always normally with some pendings in SETI, a quick look shows 1296 for me... Hmm, if the pendings is anything to go by, petrusbroder should have at least 10x higher production than me during the race... :beer:Originally posted by: Assimilator1
15,500 credits pending? you don't mean a megaflush do you? if so you'd better flush them before the race as that's against the rules
If you open that PSU up, you'll find the DC filter capacitors will be stuffed (leaking/dried out).Originally posted by: Assimilator1
Funny you mention a weak 5v line ,my landladies PC also has an Antec ,a TP 380 ,the 1st the 5v line went weak causing random HDD resets ,now just over a year or so latter the 2nd one's 5v line has gone weak too!:| ,~4.5v.I'm not going bother to RMA it this time at a cost of ~£20!.

Everyone should be using Crunch3r's 2.4V applications. They are faster than the ones at lunatics.at. Also, if you have more than one core, you should be using Crunch3r's 5.9.0 app, which sets affinity to speed things up even more. If you're running a 64-bit operating system, make sure to get the 64-bit versions, they are significantly faster.

that's a good rule. Fortunately, I've managed to get mine running smoothly again. In fact, it is not only giving me 80% or so credit for completed WU's like I was getting with v2.2. I was still getting a 25% increase in total granted credit so I had no complaints, but if this gives ANOTHER 25% increase...
Downgrading to BOINC-client v5.9.0 is not a good idea...Originally posted by: keeleysam

Seasonal Attribution, a Climateprediction.net sub-project, running a 1-year UK-high-resolution model, using 430 MB memory (480 if screensaver). In CPDN, each day is split into multiple "TimeSteps", in SAP there's 144 TimeSteps per model-day, and model is only checkpointed each 144 TimeSteps.Originally posted by: Assimilator1
What's that?
Nice addition.Back to race related stuff ,I've borrowed a mates Q6600 & is now crunching in my main rig
Pitty I can't get it over 2.6GHz whereas my C2D can do 3.2GHz (higher FSB too).
Still ,lots more output for at least a week ,maybe longer
