Run Time errors in IE

I just wiped my PII laptop and reinstalled Win98 from scratch.

after installing Ie6 and all the updates from windowsupdates.microsoft.com, i get runtime error msgs when i'm on the CNN page. but my other Win98 laptop doesnt have that problem.

How to fix?

To fix, go to:

In Internet Explorer

TOOLS \ INTERNET OPTIONS \ ADVANCED \ BROWSING

and untick 'Display a notification about every script error"
and tick ' Disable Script Debugging'

ahh..but why does the script errors happen? should i be concerned?
