Hi guys.
A software company we are in talks with have sent us a VM to try there software.
It is a CentOS and I know next to nothing about this OS.
When I try to boot the VM, I get to the login screen and enter the details.
I then get a screen saying the following:
"Your session only lasted less than 10 seconds. If you have not logged out yourself, this could mean that there is some installation problem or that you may be out of diskspace...."
Details:
/etc/X11/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp
/etc/X11/gdm/PreSession/Default: running : /usr/bin/X11/sessreg -a -w /var/log/wtmp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/gdm/:0....................
stty: standard input: Inappropriate ioctl for device
Xlib: connection to ":1.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
(gnome-session:5820): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
This is all that is said. I am running VMWare Player on Windows 7.
Any ideas?
