Running Too Hot!!! - Need Help

Ok. Well to get started off my current cooling consists of 5 sunon fans, an enermax p/s one 9mm fan pulls heat other exusts it.. on my cpu I have a Thermaltake 7+ fan running at max speed 6000 RPM on an AMD Athlon XP 2000+ anyone have any suggestions ooo I have one of those Antech lookin cases those big things. Any help is greatly appericated....

did you use Artic Silver 2 or 3 on the heatsink and CPU?

Make sure to remove the heatpad that came on the Heatsink fan prior to putting on the AS2/3

I'm no expert but I'll post a few things that I'm guessing others would eventually say...

What is the temp you are running at?

Five fans won't matter if you don't have good air flow. Are cables blocking a lot of air?

Is your HSF blowing up from or down into the CPU? Try down.

I have artic silver 3, but i have those klunkey cables I just ordered some round cables and junk like it... my fan is blowing downward also...

Should i follow these instructions on your link, with ANY thermal compound and not just artic silver?

192F is 89C. Your CPU is in danger if it's really running hot enough to give those temperatures.

Check to see if the heatsink is on backwards. It has a step cut into the base which must be at the lever end of the socket so it clears the cambox.

I went out and bought a 200$ water cooling kit ill just use that thnx.

I did the same for dual procs, the temp and noise difference was night and day. Watercooling rocks... the only noticable noise are my SVC fans for the hard drives, and my 430w Enermax.
