The Russians overheard German officers talking about sending Taurus missiles to Ukraine, writes BILD. The recording was supposed to appear today on Russian Telegram channels. It appears that the over half hour phone call (video conference) is real. This is according to preliminary assessments. It was conducted in the form of a "brainstorming session" in case Chancellor Scholz decided to provide them, hence there are few specific commitments, but a lot of juicy details. The generals are considering how the missiles could be used to attack the Crimean Bridge without it being linked to the Germans. They also openly say that it is entirely possible to deliver the missiles quickly and that they do not require German technicians on site. Moreover, they express great confidence in the competences of Ukrainian pilots and see no problem in their quick training. The recording spreads across the German infosphere like a bushfire. The content itself is not particularly controversial, but it contradicts Scholz's declarations, or more precisely, the arguments he gave not to hand over the Tauruses. What is outrageous is the fact that the Russians are still recording the highest commanders of the Bundeswehr (apparently on February 19)! Overall, an interesting situation, considering that just yesterday Chancellor Scholz was kind enough to reveal that both the French and the British are helping the Ukrainians in targeting Scalp and Storm Shadow missiles, and also from Ukraine.
