What are the saddest songs that you have hears? I want to burn a "sad songs" cd an need some Ideas. Note*: I like Classic Rock songs the best, so any in that field would be a plus, though please post whatever comes to mind.

I notice that you like Cat Stevens... one of my favorite songs of his (I'd classify it as "sad&quot is called "Trouble". Check it out on Napster.

My favorite "Sad" song of all time though is "Can't Make You Love Me" by Bonnie Raitt... it makes me want to bawl like a little baby.

I know its not a classic rock song but try the new song by Aaron Lewis of Staind and Fred Durst of limp Bizkit called Outside.. Its a awsome accoustic song.. And can't forget the greatest song "Nothing else Matters" from Mettalica.

Britney spears has some very powerful songs that evoke deep melodramatic emotions. You dont know what you are missing to blow her off like that. Go download "Where are you now?" and you will hear in her voice, the pain and cry in her lyrics. Ahhhhhhhhh.......so sweet.
