 4 the Troops.

I hope the success of military doesn't affect elections by a large margin. Although capturing SH was important, this country has a lot of other problems, most importantly with it's economy.

yup, still waiting for those tax break to trickle down like snow on the eve of spring in a swiss meadow quenching the slumberous thurst of the cold ground, nourishing the very flowers that release an aromatic flowery scent that has been captured in a glade aerosol can, made in the usa with good old usa steel, fashioned by americas steel workers, unlike the outsourcing of the customer service and other technical jobs to countries like india, even though it will stimulate their economy, and should help the overall global economy because they are the second largest population, second only to china, who's economy is doing extremely well considering they are an evil communist state, but yet we maintain open trade with them while shunning cuba, who we shun because it is a dictatorship without regard to the disadvantage to the people of the country, similar to the disadvantage of the people in africa who are ravaged by the AID's epidemic, or in the congo who are ravaged by the constant fighting, also similar to what's going on in liberia, but also similar fighting occurs in our stronghold in the middle east, where a constant cycle of bombing/retaliation is destroying the people, who are too focused on their own god's to neglect the teachings common to all religions, which is to preserve human life, which will ultimately lead to our demise as we use up all the resources of hte planet due to our bacteria like reproduction, which can only be curbed through education, and so on....and so forth

Have you even read his replies?!!??! No need to throw out that CHILDISH and unfounded response. It's obvious that he is a person who is more adult than most of the people on this board, and he can sustain a logical argument at that. So you disagree with his opinion, why don't you come back when you're mature enough to realize that it's not a bad thing.

US resolution 1441??? Yeah...continue on...

KK

kk,
it doesnt make sense to cite UN resolutions when they somehow favor our decision to go to war but then ignore the UN when they say that we shouldnt go to war.

the purpose of the UN in the first place is to achieve collective security by each country forfeiting a little bit of its sovereignty to the collective and making decisions collectively. the US clearly refused to do that when it Bush made the UN "irrelevant" that is the bigger issue at hand.

oh. i mean when the UN decided to make itself irrelevant.

exactly.. the UN made itself irrelevant when it made a resolution, and then contradicted itself by refusing to enforce it...

ok, so you're telling me thatwhen they were sending their inspectors into the country to verify the claims that Iraq has not disposed of their weapons, they weren't enforcing the resolution? now i still don't get it, we still have no proof of weapons in Iraq, but yet you say that he violated the resolution by possessing WMDs.

that's exactly what i'm saying.. unless you think that sending inspectors implies serious consequences. And i didn't say anything about WMD.

yup, still waiting for those tax break to trickle down like snow on the eve of spring in a swiss meadow quenching the slumberous thurst of the cold ground, nourishing the very flowers that release an aromatic flowery scent that has been captured in a glade aerosol can, made in the usa with good old usa steel, fashioned by americas steel workers, unlike the outsourcing of the customer service and other technical jobs to countries like india, even though it will stimulate their economy, and should help the overall global economy because they are the second largest population, second only to china, who's economy is doing extremely well considering they are an evil communist state, but yet we maintain open trade with them while shunning cuba, who we shun because it is a dictatorship without regard to the disadvantage to the people of the country, similar to the disadvantage of the people in africa who are ravaged by the AID's epidemic, or in the congo who are ravaged by the constant fighting, also similar to what's going on in liberia, but also similar fighting occurs in our stronghold in the middle east, where a constant cycle of bombing/retaliation is destroying the people, who are too focused on their own god's to neglect the teachings common to all religions, which is to preserve human life, which will ultimately lead to our demise as we use up all the resources of hte planet due to our bacteria like reproduction, which can only be curbed through education, and so on....and so forth
I didn't even attempt to read this, on grounds of complete lack of grammatical base.

They told us Saddam is a evil evil man, and they will get him!

uh huh, i see. Are you sure they didn't say he is the boogie man?

also, is there like a window or acceptable time limit? or is it just a general statement that is indefinite. just checking to see if i should hold my breath for Bin Laden and the economy to be stimulated by that wonderful tax cut...

yea, just felt a little politically poetic there. but as far as grammar, it might be a lot of sentences compiled into one, but it's grammatically correct for the most part. and an insight into some of my views, which i am open to change if it makes sense to do so

ohhhhh, i see. now was serious consequences in the actual resolution, because that seems a tad bit too vague for an international treatie. Sounds more like something a certain cowboy would say. And you may not have said anything about WMD, but that was the button word for our last State of the Union, and was the pretense for our war, and was what Hussein was not supposed to have

then my job is done

no, i was just going off on 3D tangents there when i wrote that, don't take it too seriously, i just wrote it to write it, not to use it as a point. and the first metaphor is to imply the trickling of the tax break from the wealthiest 1% to us peons. i tried ot put a nice image on it, i would like to go to the swiss alps during spring one day.

also, forgive me, for i have not slept and am suddenly becoming overwhelmed by a sudden urge to do something that involves me laying in my bad motionless for a few hours.

either way, Saddam was captured and nobody can support that he deserves to be the leader of any country... therefore, he should not be the leader of any country... i'm not going to debate politics any further in this thread because I'm just glad Saddam was captured and am thankful and proud of our soldiers who stuck it out...

i retract my cowboy comment

I'm surprised they would use such a vague term as that. perhaps for just such an occasion as a coalition of countries attacks iraq under the pretense that it was executing Resolution 1441

i wish i had tiem to read the resolution, but will bookmark it for later enjoyment

They shouldn't kill Saddam. That would be too easy. They should keep him in a rat infested prison where U.S. people are in charge. His cell should be covered with U.S. flags and everyday he should be forced to listen to the anthem. That would really piss him off.
