spite that the resistance is fighting to the death and saddam was captured without a single shot, was cowering and hiding like a slitering snake
the fact that he was captured is demoralizing saddam supporters, but to top it off he went down without a fight--like a true coward. So why should pro-saddam people fight to the death when saddam will not even put up a fight.

Who said they were fighting for Saddam? If you read any of the major news magazines the intelligence consensus seems to be that very few are actually fighting for Saddam, but instead to do their Islamic duty to keep the "occupiers" out of their country or foreign terrorists sent in to make Iraq a new battleground (Al Qaeda is reported to have cut in half their funding in Afghanistan to focus on Iraq).Originally posted by: BigJelly
