Safe to Fly?

Hey yall,

I wanna head up to NJ in mid October to see my girlfriend. I was wondering if you all think its safe to fly? My mom is very against the thought of me flyin, but for $110 round trip from FL, the price cant be beat. Any thoughts?

I do not understand why anyone is hesitant to fly.

i worry too, but i personally know several people who have flown in the last week, and they said it's very tight security and not as bad as everyone is thinking

a funny story i heard was that as they were waiting to take off, the captain came on and basically said "hey guys, there's 150 of you...just remember that, if anyone tries something you know what to do"

Go for it. Skoorb and I just booked tickets to Newfoundland for Christmas and that is a full day of flying! Of course, we are sticking with Air Canada.

I think theres a perfectly good reason to worry. Just not sure how much is too much to worry? I dont wanna put myself if any danger....

yep i would fly but i dont have nay extra money lots of people id like to visit,

especially Robin, Bruce, ther eson Parker maybe even some relatives

well the pilots are saying stop em and put up a fight so, htere can always be some ass kicking on teh flight, I know ill be up front showing then what an american can do whos pissed off

Neither do I. It is probably safer to fly right now than ever before in the history of the airlines.

Are you seriously afraid of a hijacker saying, "there's a bomb on the plain, there are 3 of us, and 200 of you, and we have 3 plastic knives, and you have 400 angry pissed off fists".

I mean please. Why live if you are going to live in fear. I'd rather die.

As long as they let you briong your UZI on board with you I wouldn't worry a bit....

Flying is still safer then driving a car.
