Sample itinerary for UK Visa

So I am in the process of applying for a travel visa to UK. One of the requirements is to include a travel itinerary with the application. It says not to buy the ticket; but just provide the travel itinerary. If I am buying the tickets online; how do I go about getting a itinerary without actually buying the tickets?

what country is your passport from? You don't need a visa to travel there from the US (I was there last month).

Uhm...just tell them when you are planning to arrive/leave/whatever.

Look up itenerary in the dictionary perhaps?

well. I know that I need a visa. That is not the question. I just don't know where to get a sample itineray.

Here's a sample, cut and paste to suit:

8 December: Arrive Heathrow, travel to Derby.
9-13 Dec: Derby.
14 Dec: Travel to Liverpool
15-16 Dec: Train to York
17 Dec: York
18 Dec: Travel to London
19 Dec: Depart Heathrow for Myhomelandistan

Here's an idea: CALL THE EMBASSY AND ASK THEM TO CLARIFY.
