You should have been able to find the stations available from that site I linked. The suggestion of the user about a friend with an antenna indoor and disguised was great. The antenna means everything when it comes to how many stations youll get.
As far as getting a decent picture?Thats the greatest thing about hdtv.If you get a picture at all on a given station it will be flawless with no snow...

Anyone have a suggestion for a source for a decent TV stand at a good price? I just bought a Sony 36" Wega and now need to locate a stand at a good price.

Hey Tiger well everything is setup. Im very pleased with HDTV and I cant wait till all programming is brocasted digitally. Im kind of upset though cause were I am at they only brocast hdtv during primetime and no other time. Right now I only get three channels in HDTV. Im wondering if I should move to cable TV. But comcast is very expensive.

I got this set, and if you're planning on using the s-video connection (I use it for satellite... no hdtv tuner yet), and you have the tv in a tight fitting cabinet (mine has 3/8 inch on each side) then you'll need a right-angle s-video adapter.

I bought the adapter from iec.net for $15.65 shipped 2-day UPS. It's a little steep for an adapter, but I couldn't find it locally, or any other place online. The item itself was only $5.90. Search for item "M1518."

I am happy with the company, and happy with my t.v.

I just wanted to throw that link out there in case anyone else is in need of the adapter.

I do

Now I just wish I could afford a HDTV tuner that does Direct TV too. The Samsung one is too expensive. 600 bucks

i'm not sure, but you can choose between tv or any of the video inputs.
pip does not work in component mode though.

what is the difference between single and dual?

dual tuner requires no vcr tuner to get pip.single tuner requires vcr or some other tuner to get the 2nd window.

I've got the Samsung 32" HDTV, and I too had success with the Unlock code. However, I have been messing with the PIP, and I'm pretty sure it's just a single tuner PIP (or I really don't know how to work this damn thing ).

No offense to anyone but a Direct Tube looks wayyyy better than a Rear projection unless you get a DLP or a Plasma. Myself 30 or 34" in the best in direct or maybe the 38" RCA. I'd rather have quality than size.

I agree with the comments on tube sets... a CRT direct view looks better than plasma and DLP in most cases... you can find killer deals on open box versions of the RCA 38"...I paid $1199 for mine at Circuit City.

It has a high failure rate, but once repaired they work great....plus it has what is arguably the best HD image quality available

No offense to anyone, but if you think a 30" DVTV looks better than a properly adjusted 48" RPTV, I want some of what you're smoking.

Arguably the best HD quality available? I'd say that's VERY arguable. RCA is garbage. LOL. At the very least, get the sweet 30" or 32" Samsungs mentioned in this thread and stay away from RCAs. I can't believe you would recommend something that you admit has a "high failure rate." OMG.

Doubt it. If it doesn't have the bandwidth to handle 720p (1280*720p) then it's not very good as far as a CRT goes.

I highly recommend the Panasonic DT-M3050W. It's a discontinued Panny broadcast monitor. If you look around a bit you can find it occasionally for <$2000.

If you want to get on this deal and pick it up locally, price match the TV at your local BB and go to sears to price match for an additional 10% off.
