Samsung Galaxy s3 and Encryption

Hi,

Has anyone enabled encryption on their galaxy s3? We have setup mobile device management in our organization and we have enforced encryption on our byod devices.

For galaxy s3, there are two problems:
1. Seems users cannot upgrade the OS without going through painful process of un-enrolling to MDM, decrypting, then upgrading, and re-enrolling to MDM.
2. While the device is encrypting, there is an annoying reminder every few hours on the device reminding a user to encrypt!

any similar experience?

our whole company is switching over to the S3 instead of iphones, but we have our own encryption app.
