yea, the mini could be nice it it had top end specs, I don't really want a mini phone its just my opinion that things are getting too big, I have a LG G3 and its as big as I would want a phone to be. I really think the 5.3" size is the sweetspot
Only 2 Samsung apps to be preloaded on the S6. Sounds like Sammy is listening that users want less crap on their phones.

The LG G3 is bigger that the S5.
I hotlinked the image Radeon962 found.
I have to say the phones look pretty good. But having said that, I deplore the loss of micro-SD card slot. And at least in the pictures leaked so far the camera hump is quite ugly. Body of phones are so slim and the bezels are nicely thin (on the regular S6). Exciting times.
I almost spit my morning coffee. Please do not get mad I know you are only a messenger. But I think "Only 2 Samsung apps to be preloaded on the S6's home screen" might be closer to reality. lol.
really? I could have sworn it was bigger when I was messing with it
maybe im confusing it with the note. totally possible
No offense taken. If you read the post:
Heres a complete list of apps which will come pre-installed on the upcoming flagship devices:
1. S Voice
2. S Health
3. Facebook
4. WhatsApp (download link)
5. Microsoft One Drive
6. Microsoft One Note
7. Skype
8. All Google apps
9. GALAXY APPS
GALAXY APPS is installed so that you can download other apps from Samsung, as well as other premium apps which Samsung provides for free.
We shall have to wait to see if it is actually the case.

http://forums.anandtech.com/showpost.php?p=37053270&postcount=20I agree but there is a hint that Samsung is about to cave to the shallow criticism and give up the removable back for a unibody metal design. If that is the case, they may keep the Note line as "made for professionals" line, and take the S6's design to more trendy direction. So there may be more than just sizes to differentiate the two lines.
A really ugly camera hump is almost one of Samsungs signature now.
I am glad about it.Anubis said:that looks dbl curved purely for ascetics, does not appear to have the "edge" LCD on it
I've wondered if Samsung might not do this to try and prop up the premium of the Note line compared to the S line. This way the price of the Note over the S seems more worth it, while average users won't care about the loss and they get a more iPhone like phone. So if you want the removable battery, SD slot, you pony up for the Note, which is the more pro/power user phone anyway. But then I'd like them to make a smaller Note as well. Have it have 4.7" and 5.7", the S line have 5.2" and 4" for the mini. Just don't gimp the mini versions like they have been.
Note may not be anymore expensive than the S6 and initially the S6 may be more expensive.
Coming to its availability, an anonymous source from a UK-based carrier company has revealed the price range Samsung will be selling its new flagship phones at. Speaking to Ars Technica, the source says the Galaxy S6's 32GB, 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage variants will for carriers be priced at EUR 749 (roughly Rs. 52,800), EUR 849 (roughly Rs. 59,800), and EUR 949 (roughly Rs. 66,900) respectively. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will be EUR 100 more than the Galaxy S6 for all the storage variants.
749 EUR = $839
I can't believe these prices would be what they charge here in the US but you never know.
I'm a little disappointed - it looks fine and the leaker on xda has said it feels great and thin in-hand. I'm just not a huge fan of a glass back like the Z3 though I suppose it's mostly personal preference. Anyone with the Z3 comment on durability? I never had an issue with my iPhone 4 back in the day, but I can see people doing the "bend test" with bad results.
I am glad to see the larger home button as it supports the idea of a touch scanner. I've gotten the Note 4 swipe scanner down and it's way more convenient than a PIN, but it's still noticeably inferior to Touch ID.
Potentially no mSD is a shocking. I really hope they don't bring this to the Note series as it's always been more functionality focused than the S series. I have a crapton of media on a 128GB card on my Note 4.
Hopefully the rest of the experience is up to snuff - camera, performance, smoothness, storage.
Unremovable battery and no microSD = people has less reason to stick with Samsung and more more reason to jump ship to Apple.
I don't think Samsung themselves know how deep their dug their own hole this time. This thing is gonna flop hard.
Again, pretty sure they were referring to the Edge. US carriers would be in arms if the S6 broke outside the normal $199 on contract or $33/mo on Next type plan. Just a non-starter for any OEM, even Apple.
