That is the thing when it comes to colors. It is up to individuals and it is not very productive to say "you are wrong" when it comes to preference. I also do not know what "weak whites" mean unless more specific context is given.Meh - I thought you were a guy who appreciate objective vs subjective, data vs. feelings. I'm not even sure what "weak" whites mean when it comes to displays.
BTW, iPhone 6 does not have neutral white. I have no idea what kind of iPhone 6 AT measured, but every single iPhone 6 I have seen is tinted blue, and every review other than AT's confirms what I saw. (My guess is that AT received a cherry-picked unit.) Apple is not above marketing and knows many people prefer colder, linen-like white. For neutral white on LCD smartphone, see the Nexus 5.
I saw the S6/Edge at a local Bestbuy and they look fairly color accurate to my eyes. Whites are not as blue as iPhone 6 in Basic mode. Interestingly, the deficiency of S6 Edge's - color shifting at the edges - works to its benefit, making the screen looks like a page out of a book where shadow casts in the middle. That may have been an unintended side effect, which is kind of amusing.
