486 era???? Turtle Beach has made a number of sound cards in the last 10+ years - you're goin' back the the ISA era, friend. We're thinking PCI and the Santa Cruz released no more than 1.5 years ago!
Darn fine sound card - I lament giving mine up when I won one in a contest! Now I'd love to have it again but I'll settle for the Quadzilla coming my way. I have no choice - NOONE in Canada seems to sell the Santa Cruz! I think we found one online vendor selling for almost $170 CDN! That SUCKS! $100 Canadian would be a decent price - $120 acceptable, $150 overpriced, but $170??? that's just gouging because noone else wants to sell "some sound card noone's ever heard of... everyone knows about SoundBlaster!"
