I haven't had the need to try that, but I did notice that the cable has a non-standard pin-out. I got a sharpie out A.S.A.P. and wrote "AUDIGY" on both sides so I wouldn't misplace it.
I bet that you could use a standard EIDE cable with the audigy, but you are running the risk of frying the live drive and the card if they are pin sensitive and you plug them in backwards!
You should ask the tech-support, and maybe consider ordering a replacement at an inflated price. $10 for a cable is cheaper than $170 for a new card. Think of it as insurance.
