Some people have been successful in calling Dell and using their DPA on SB purchases, but AFAIK you cannot choose DPA as your payment method while checking out online on their SB website.

are these Dell servers pretty reliable? I considered adding the 3-year plan for $119, but I think the 1 year should do. I work with mostly Dell workstations at my job, and quite a few of them have had PSU issues.

yes they are very reliable but forgo the $35 coupon and use your CC that will extend warranty for one extra year to total of 2 years warranty

This is correct. You cannot use DPA on the SB website. Only on the Home and EPP sites. However, I have heard a few people having luck if you call and tell them you want to use it.
