Actually, Bush and the Dems support amnesty. It was the Repubs that were working on closing the border. Which granted, isnt enough but its a start and beats the pants off amnesty.

As for that whole top 1% argument, yeah thats a played out argument thats always heard when the Dems try to justify robbing people who have been successful to give it to people with a net contribution to society of zilch.

And for what its worth, yes I think Bush was a horrible spender. Conservative my ass, he most certainly was not. But if the new guy is going to still increase the debt regardless at what rate compared to the previous guy, I sure wouldnt say hes being "fiscally responsible".
