The rebates don't say anything about a coupon invalidating them. So it's all good. They do mention some weird crap about pricematches though.

They added the PM stuff on their rebates after the Logitech keyboard deal a year or two ago. OM had the keyboard for $50 no rebates. BB did one of their competitive PMs on it but they used a $50 BB MIR instead of instant off. People bought the keyboard at BB and PMed back to OM and sent in the $50 BB MIR. It came out to be almost free for a $100 (BB's price) keyboard.

BB MIR requirements are now huge because of all the hot deals where BB got screwed. The register rebates form are now about three feet long. Makes it difficult to copy for me.

True, but there's no reason for them to not go through. Most of this deal's hottness comes from the fact that BB had it on clearance. So it's all good.

Personally, I am having issues with Seagate Rebates (for Fry's purchases) Had to resubmit both rebates today. What a pain.

Yeah. Video editing is exactly what I'll be using it for. Uncompressed video is crazy huge files. I even use a lossless compression and I typically deal with single files that are typically 50-80gb.
