Just found out that I have to pay for shipping to return a 250 Gig ATA with a bad block.
This is a drive I bought new 3 months ago. I can't believe it, guess I need to read fine print?
Anyone Know of a way to get reinbursed shipping charges?? Thanks
Most people already knew this downside to RMA's. Plus there is a way to get free shipping with some companies. You just have them send a new drive first and return your drive in the prepaid box they sent the new drive in. The only catch is you have to provide your credit card number and they charge you full retail price if they don't recieve the RMA.
