anything really, to compare site speeds relative to each other and overall. i'm deciding between a few hosts and it'd be nice to have statistics to compare then.

My advice would be to research each host which I am sure you are doing. You can use sites such as DNS Stuff to ping the different data centers too.

Check sites such as:

findmyhost.com
hosting-review.com
webhostmagazine.com
webhostingtalk.com

There are so many of these sites, and take the information for what it is worth. An informed consumer is a good consumer.

Some of the experts around here may have some better ideas.

Personally, I have tried most of the major datacenters myself. I have used many of the 3rd pary support companies for different issues and such. I have also tried many of the billing and support scripts designed for webhosts too. I have a notebook full of notes about each one that I use. Call it a research project for an upcoming project

These accounts will be good for at least 6 more months. If I choose to end the offer, I will give users at least 30 days to find a new home for there data.
