Last weekend, as posted previously, I had an encounter with some wasps while doing some yard work. I'm not allergic, as far as I know.
Fast forward to thursday, my wrist near where one of the stings were got rather itchy. Incessantly so. I thought it was coincidental, so I dismissed it. Turns out as the morning progressed, I ended up with a localized rash - not simply from itching, it was a nice bubbly rash which I still have today. I wrote it off as one of the dogs having run through some poison oak or something in the yard and it transferring to me.
Last night, on the finger that was stung, I vaguely remember it becoming rather itchy as well. This morning, I woke up, and my finger was swollen similar to as if I were to have had a mosquito bite (I am allergic to mosquitos, that shit swells up). The sting spot on my leg is mildly itchy, with no indication of a reaction (yet). It "could" have been a mosquito in the middle of the night, but I have no localized bite mark other than where the wasp had stung me.
So 2 out of 3, I'm not willing to write it off as coincidence anymore. Is secondary reaction to wasp stings/venom a week later normal?
And no... you can't have my stuff.
