Selling Photos On Line

Hi Everyone..

Just thought I would share some information with all of you. Many of you wishing to sell your images should know that there are more and more online galleries offering to sell your images with them promoting them. Many take upwards of 90 percent depending on circumstances, but none the less the internet has provided a great vehicle for getting the imagery out there.

Ummm....well. Might as well link to some recommended sites you've used and had positive experiences with.

I've sold a few things through DeviantArt (not enough to actually get cut a check though). IIRC, their pricing scheme was pretty decent and the quality of the printing was top-notch. And there's the added bonus of being able to order your own prints for "invoice" prices. I was pretty happy with their services when I used them (probably 3-or-so years ago now).

I am using SmugMug as an online cart system, but frankly i have not had a single sale...that is mostlikely ue to the fact that i cant decide where I want to go, art/landscape, etc or sports...
