My wife used to work at eco-lodge that had a bunch of wild turkeys hanging around. A couple years ago we were in extreme drought (again) and some Navajo women came to the lodge in search of turkey feathers to use in a rain ceremony. My wife was like, "hell,yes! Take what you need!" At that point, we'd have prayed for rain to the goddamn god of atheism if it had a chance of working.They're only allowed to do their heathen magic on the small plots of land we graciously allowed them to live on. They should be thanking us for not wiping them off the face of the earth for being on our land.
