Setting up dsl on network?

I'm getting dsl this week and will be hooking up a linksys router to our current five computer network hub. Currently we are using the tcp/ip protocol on our network. The network has a dedicated server and 4 workstations form which we share files and such.

I was wondering what the best protocol would be to use so we can still access the network as it is and also access the dsl line from any computer? Is there a way to do this keeping the current ip addresses? Is there a way to do this without using DHCP? The dsl line will have a static ip address.

Hooking up the DSL line to your Linksys router and to your LAN will not affect any setting on your LAN. Sure you can keep your current IP address, just make sure the IP address you assigned to your Linksys router is on the same subnet as your LAN.
