Shadow Mask

I?m looking for a good Shadow Mask CRT for about $350 from Newegg what would you recommend???

The Viewsonic G90FB is a 19" Shadowmask for $225, while their 21" (G810B) is close to $400 at Newegg.
They are both excellent monitors.

I concur with Ike0069... I personally own the Viewsonic G90fb... good monitor. Also recomended for a Shadowmask monitor is the Samsung 997DF (19")... once again, I think the price-point you mention is in-between the price of a good 19" and 22" size CRT... you'll either save by getting a 19" or have to pony-up a little more for 22" I think.

Realize too that some of these monitors come in differant colors... the Viewsonic G90f is beige while the Viewsonic G90fb is black... just something else to think about.

I've asked a similar question in the past, most people recommended the 997DF over the G90fb. I think I'm going to get the Samsung, mainly because it's a bit smaller (though same screen size) and it looks better. on my desk.

I don't think you could go wrong with either. It's just that I have never personally seen a 997DF. I would go with whichever one is cheaper.
