sharing files/printer

i have 3 machines connected on a wireless network: 2 win98 and 1 winxp home. one of the win98 machines is the one hooked up to the printer. all 3 machines are on the same workgroup but i cant see anything in network connections. i try to share folders on the winxp machine but cant see them on the others. what are the basics i have to do to share files and a printer? does anyone have a link to a tutorial?

I had similar problems with normal file sharing.
AFAI remember, u need to create a account of similar credentials (username/password) on all the machines.
When u r trying to access the XP machine from 98, logon using that username on the 98 m/c.
It worked for me atleast.
Ofcourse then there are other minor details like turning off XP internal firewall and things u can easily find by googling arnd.

i have the defailt login on xp of Owner. and my win98 login has no password so i can autologin. will i have to change these, loose my settings, and have to enter my password now whenver i log on?

U just need to create a user with same login on both the machines.
While sharing files on the XP m/c, u need not login as that user just have read permissions for it.
Also, there are no strigent user rights in win98, so logging in as that user won't hamper much on the 98 machine.

As i said, for exact procedure, u get google arnd.
