Should i change my hairstyle?

Idk what do you think? I dont want to cut it and then regret it. (Which happens often). I was thinking of keeping it the length, exept a little shorter, cleaning out the sides so it doesnt look like a hippy, but acutally has a clean shape to it, maybe a small frohawk or gelling up?

Or should i keep this?

I'm pissed at the trend. I'm european and with this hair i look like a hippie. But the thing is, the girls like it a lot here, and same goes for back in europe when i was visiting last summer. So idk. I've never tried the shorter/long version with gel tho.
