Should I Quit My Job?

I just started working, my first day was yesterday, and I kinda seem to don't like it.

Its in the retail industry.

I think my job is in the office. Should i quit?

ANd if i decide on quitting. How would i go about on doing it?

Give it some time, at least a week or two. If you still don't like the job, give your manager two week's notice and leave without burning any bridges down.

I agree ... you should give it a chance ... you may like it after a couple of days or so ... or you may not ... but if you quit now you will never know ...

I don't really know if you should quit or not, but the easiest way to quit is to tell them exactly that on your way out.

Stick with it for a bit to see how it goes. Yesterday was only the first day right? First days are always rough. Plus, it's good to work at a place for a while so employers don't get the impression that you're hard to keep longterm. If you do decide to quit, I'd say be honest about it. Go to your boss and say it just isn't working out for you. Make sure you give 2 weeks notice so they can start looking for another employee to replace you.

What is different about the job compared to what you expected it to be? In other words, did you think the job would be a certain way and now it turns out to be different? Did you take the job because you wanted it, or because it was the first offer you got?

In almost any job, there is something you can learn to make you better in the future. If you decide to stay, look for how to develop skills you can use in later jobs.

But if you want to quit, it's pretty easy. Find the boss and say "I'm giving my two weeks notice, I'm quitting."

Give it some time. I was transferred after 21 years at the same place. I hated the new place. I thought about quitting, got my resume together, started looking around, finally found another position, applied for it and got it. By then I had been at the new place for about a month. I started rethinking leaving, I'd gotten used to the place and was seeing more good than bad things about it.

Give it a while then sit down and compare good and bad about leaving or staying befoe you decide.

I had the preasumption that the job was gonna be cruise but then again it wasn't.

I just finished my second day, and its OK. Little bit better than yesterday, but i guess as the days go by. It will get better.

I'll see. I'll try it for a few weeks, and if i decide to quit, i'll let the boss know 2 weeks in advance.
