He switches back and forth like AC current.Trump's has been very clear about the generalities of what he wants. But I believe he's also open to being flexible regarding the details.

I am hugging this comment! It made me giggle!Does doc even English?
So even though I've been calling for higher immigration quotas publicly on this board for years you want to say "I have no real interest in it"? The issue isn't that I'm secretly trying to call for higher quotas without meaning it, the problem is that you literally don't want existing undocumented folks to face any consequences whatsoever. That I would not and never would agree to.
I think of him as being similar to Schrödinger's Cat...you don't know what you're going to get until it actually happens. He switches back and forth like AC current.
It depends on how badly they want DACA imo. Recently I saw some Democrat saying he'd help build the wall if it meant DACA being passed. What will the Dems give up for the GOP to do the right thing, huh?

I can agree with that.I think of him as being similar to Schrödinger's Cat...you don't know what you're going to get until it actually happens.

A slight improvement over being completely feckless imo.So, uhh, Strong Leader! obviously.

Found it.

But we also have to have an organized effort against gangs. Just as in a previous generation we had an organized effort against the mob. We need to take these people on. They are often connected to big drug cartels, they are not just gangs of kids anymore. They are often the kinds of kids that are called superpredators — no conscience, no empathy. We can talk about why they ended up that way, but first, we have to bring them to heel.
I suppose when Trump releases his immigration framework next week we'll know for sure. Why should anybody have to give up anything for the GOP to do the right thing? Is the GOP truly devoid of morality at this point?
Then don't give up anything...take the "moral" high ground and see what it gets you. This is complicated and compromise is needed for anything to actually get done. But if you want to frame yourself as the altruistic moral authority here and frame the GOP as evil, then by all means go for it. I'm sure you'll have no problem blaming the Republicans and telling the DACA folks with a straight face that you did everything you could to help them. Why should anybody have to give up anything for the GOP to do the right thing? Is the GOP truly devoid of morality at this point?
Racism doesn't exist in the black community...everybody knows this. /sTIL on ATP&N that bigoted white people get to tell black people who are the true white racists. The answer will shock you!

Did he release his healthcare plan yet? The one before the election he said he was putting final touches on?I suppose when Trump releases his immigration framework next week we'll know for sure.
Which is what makes him moral scum. He's been nothing but a sack of cowardly shit.I don't think it will happen as I don't think conservative Republicans want it.
I would be very happy to be wrong if Ryan changes his procedures and allows a vote on a bill that would easily pass, just not with solely Republican votes. He has never done this on any bill that I am aware of for his entire speakership though, (certainly none of consequence) so that does not appear likely to me.
Yep, a white supremacist nation but he's willing to negotiate how we get there.Trump's has been very clear about the generalities of what he wants. But I believe he's also open to being flexible regarding the details.
I believe it is white supremacy mainly in the house and a willingness in the senate to support it that is preventing a vote on the dreamer thingi. I believe on one side of the equation we have a group of despicable racial fanatics that will burn the country to the ground to keep the bill from a vote and a group on the left whose only option to counter the expulsion of the dreamers is to burn the country to the ground. I believe that the inevitability is that the democrats must cave. The filth and moral scum will win. And they will win because Republicans will not impeach Trump or repudiate the disease that lives within their midst. Any senator or congressman who has not changed party and advocating the removal of Trump is a monster. I'm not demonizing them for votes, or out of fear but because they are morally disgusting in every way that is real. To eject people from this country who grew up here because their parents brought them illegally is savagery. I think reasonable people feel like I do. So yes, I can't believe you would support their removal.I don't perceive you as being anything other than a decent and normal American...and I would hope that you feel the same way about me...even if we don't happen to agree from time to time. I can't imagine a truly reasonable person feeling any other way.
Yeah yeah it was the Dust in the Wind Act of 2017.Did he release his healthcare plan yet? The one before the election he said he was putting final touches on?
How do you put illegals at the back of the line w/o deporting them?
How about do not give them blanket amnesty/green card/citizenship/etc. before we are done with all of the LEGALS first? Gotta love how you keep saying "deporting" over and over again while ignore my statement about what would happen if you sneak in or overstay your visa at any sovereign nation. Any, it does not matter if it is a developed or developing country.
Would you be:
a) Allow to stay and become legal as you advocate so many times in this site just because you were able to stay below the radar and <insert more excuses>.
b) Kick out.
Same question to ALL posters that are advocating for ILLEGALS.
The United States of America is a sovereign nation, we have allowed them to stay and become legal before, so A is a valid option.
