Shutdown Problems with KK266

I just installed my new Iwill KK266 board and now when I shut down Win 2K at night, the system powers down, then starts up for a split second, then shuts down, then starts up, and so on. I can get the machine to completely shut down only if I hold in the power button long enough for a hard shutdown. The machine reboots fine.

When the power is going on and off, there isn't enough time for a bios load before the power supply shuts off again. Then the board pulls power again and then shuts off again. It'll keep it up all night if I forget about it.

It doesn't do it all the time but has been more persistent in the last few days.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Whis bios are you running. I heard that this was a problem with later bioses. I am running 307 fine. I heard any of the may bioses(5XX) have this problem.

I think it is 35013A. That is what shipped with my board.

That is your board model number there should be another number like 305, 307, 426, 515, or something else around the same area on the screen. It also might be a date instead. 307 is the March 7th bios update.
