LINK TO CASE

So I am guessing the front one should be in and the back one out, but what about the two 120s on the side? Should they both be in? Both out? One of each? Should I even bother putting in the fans there? I think there is also a spot for a fan under the hard drive cage which way would that one go? Any help would be much appreciated.

The standard two fan configuration of this case seems to be good enough for most system. Unless you have SLI setup, I doubt you will need to install two fans on the side. If you want to install those fans anyways, they should probably both blow into the case. You can see this is what Scan International did with their SLI system built based on the TJ05:

i'd disagree. one intake, one exhaust, depending of course, on the CFM rating of the fans. i've got one 45cfm intake, another for exhaust, and a slot fan. keeps everything nice and chilly (cpu=34C load)

I would make the back exhaust and the sides intake.

You should mess with hte side fan configuration and see what yeilds better temps.

when doing all this, hope you are keeping in mind if you are going to start blowing air in all diff. directions, better have rounded cables and everything as much out of the way as possible.

as for the science behind which fan should go which way, id say F around with it and see, i don't think u can definitively say which way is better because it depends on the specifics of ur case/hardware/mobo setup.
