Simple Tech's Solid State Disks

Simple Tech has a solid state disk that sells for under 400 bucks depending on where you buy it. 1.2GB for under 400 bucks. Can anyone shed some light for me on how much of an increase in disk IO you are looking at when going from a regular rotating disk drive to one of these.

I don't know about the 1Gig ones.

I have a couple of 64 meg ones. I have had for several years.

1 in a DOS box P100@75 for playing games. And 1 in a FREESCO box Cyrix 266@200.
Both boot in a hurry.

The 64's are all ATA33. I would want to know what the 1 gig's are before I spent $400.

Solid-state drives have no moving parts, as the name implies. Zero noise, and seek time approaches zero.

I'd imagine that you'd not only get better I/O transfer rates, but the next best thing about them would be seek times. I can't see the specs for the things though, as the pages time out, and IE gives up. Pinging the site resulted in a timeout, even with a 15 second timeout setting. Could anyone find specs there and copy and paste?
