Right now I'm making about $125 per paycheck working 3-6 after school on Monday-Wednesday and Friday and Saturday. My DVD addiction is leaving me with no $$ But I should be making about $300 per paycheck this summer

Speaking of expensive hobbies, try amateur astronomy. I've had my eye on a small Takahashi or TeleVue APO refractor to complement my 10" Schmidt-Cassegrain but by the time I get the refractor outfitted and usable, the cost would be north of $3000. Ouch!

I know man. My father has a very nice Meade which kidna got me hooked. I'd love a good telescope. Also want a new camera.

Heck you're looking at north of $3000 for the OTA alone. Add in a mount, diagonal, and other miscellaneous accessories and you'd be in the $5000 range. Want to do imaging? Add at least another $1000 for a DSLR, or waaaaay more than that if you want to do long exposure work. Expensive hobby indeed.
