So who still plays BF2?

Just got the collection, SF, Euro force and armoured fury.

Does anyone play the expansions anymore? Or does everyone just stick with the vanilla BF2

I used to play quite a bit but haven't for a couple months, at least. I probably will start back up once I figure out why it instantly crashes when I launch it (I think it's due to my widescreen LCD cause it only started doing that after I got the monitor).

As for what people play, I'd say vanilla the most. There's not much SF unfortunately, and I didn't pay attention to the Euro and Armor servers.

I play just regular BF2. Though my main rig has been down for about a week so I havent been playing anything since then.

I like SF more than Vanilla. More balance and like the addition of grappling hooks, zip lines, tear gas, etc....

I don't have any of the mods and/or add-ons. I've heard that they're fun, but there's a lot of bugs, and the fact that you have to reinstall BF2, then SF, then EF, then AF, and then patch them all again--sounds horrific. Besides, I like vanilla BF2, and all the vehicles get unlocked in the mods, so I still get to play what I'm allegedly missing out on.

The thing that I like about Battlefield is that it's not some dumbed down port. The consolized version is a piece of crap, and even xbox kiddie fanboys realize that. +1 to EA. One thing they haven't screwed up so much.

Yea i noticed that. I got the MG36 and a bunch of other guns including the very cool L96A1 sniper rifle and the MP7 for the engineer. Those are SF weapons correct?
