Good god. They practically do.

My Postmedia colleague Cam Cole’s bathtub came loose from the wall, and therefore rocks like a ship. He has a shower curtain, though. In the Rosa Khutor section of the mountains, Stacy St. Clair of the Chicago Tribune was told by the front desk that if the water worked, “do not use on your face because it contains something very dangerous.” When it did come out of the tap, it looked like a lot like cloudy urine.
I wasn't going to follow these games but now I'm intrigued. I'm gonna enjoy reading first-hand accounts, like this:

And so much more....

I think until at least 2020. Bastards! I think I mentioned this in the things you want to die thread. Their coverage sucks. It is a tape delayed, over dramatized, Bob Costas crapfest. SUCK IT NBC
My hotel has no water. If restored, the front desk says, "do not use on your face because it contains something very dangerous." #Sochi2014
Water restored, sorta. On the bright side, I now know what very dangerous face water looks like. #Sochi #unfiltered
Did Shaun White make it this year? They had a special on TV and he bombed is 1st trial to get in, then I missed the rest of the show.
LINK!!!!Some redditor posted a pic of their bathroom in Sochi; there was water coming out of the bathroom's electric wall socket.
Have seen pics of toilets in some rooms that have signs next to them admonishing those using said toilet to not flush toilet paper down the toilet but instead put the used toilet paper in the provided waste basket.

I'll watch a good bit of it.
I get a kick out of all the negative news about the venue. This happens every single damn olympics and people always think oh this time it's going to be a catastrophe. And it never is.
This is terrible, this joke.
I can't wait for all of the complaining about NBC broadcasting the most popular sports during prime time instead of when everyone is at work.
$52 Billion they spent. I knew Russia was corrupt, but that is just blatant.

They still have the Olympics? How about that. I figured they stopped doing that back in the 80s when people cared.
I'm gonna guess that there are generations of humans younger than us, that are currently the ages we were in the 80s when we, too, cared about the Olympics.
:hmm:
