I heard that one of the female refs, who is from my area, is a horrible ref. She has a hard enough time reffing high school games, not sure how she made it into reffing the Olympics...

I heard this from multiple people, including some friends that play hockey and another ref that I am friends with who is also reffing the Olympics.

People complain when NBC doesn't air events live, now you're complaining that they do air it live and then they don't devote another 3 hours to a replay? Watch the stream on their website.

I agree that call was awful, but we got robbed of a penalty shot and you guys almost got an empty net goal because the ref was out of position and hip checked one of our players. I think it evens out.

It is when the complaints were about refereeing and the ref obstructed one of our players. We were talking about bad calls and poor refereeing, this was an example.

It happens though, we got screwed out of a penalty shot vs. Latvia because a ref did not call it. If we had lost because of that I would have been super pissed.
