EDIT: Post interview, Zach Parise (Team Capt.) admitted as much, that after the first Fin goal they "deflated" the rest of the game and "embarrassed" and "wasn't a good effort" the rest of the game.

I really don't think American guys making million dollar salaries give a chit about a bronze medal. Like I said, take out the pro players and make it about amateurs again...

We should have two more medals(4 man bobsled and bronze in Hockey). If our speed skating team didn't suck it up across the board(1 medal between short track and long track, out of a couple dozen events), we would have dominated the medal count.

And Russia 4 less (3 golds 1 bronze) if Victor An didn't leave the South Korea team for Russia.
