Awww...truth hurts, eh?

Is your daddy some CEO someplace and spouting so much right-wing crap that it's affected your ability to think?
Never has Zendari offered any of his experiences.

Question to Zendari, how is it that you formed your opinions? What was your social upbringing, schooling, and / or work history?

Yeah, but what do you expect? They reek of desperation and jealousy.

You should smell it from where I'm sitting. Nothing reeks worse then the smell of GREED.

Next time you harvest your crop dont sell it for maximum profit.
Think of the starving kids out there and sell it for less than the market price.

Let me tell you something slick, when I have to hire help I pay dam good wages. More then I would have to. I think it's just good business. When I need something done, they are right there for me, Johhny-on-the-spot.

When I was a machinist, I hired all my combining done because my time was worth a premium. I had the same combiner for years and i never once tried to get him to lower his price, while all the big coporate farms negoiated better deals with him.

Not once, but TWICE, he left them high and dry when there were some big storms coming to come do my crops before the storm hit. He made good money off of me and didn't want to see me go broke.

I believe in Karma even in the business world. When I do computer work I have always treated my customers generously. With my rental I charge slightly below market value and offer cable / internet at no extra cost. In return I have had the same great tenants for over 2.5 years with no vacancies. Treat people good and most of them will return the favor.

compassion for a company? WTF? Employees owe a company nothing other than putting in a good day's work. The company owes the employee a decent (at least living) wage and benefits.

And companies owe the employee nothing other than the market value of their good day's work.

That's exactly why so many companies have such "loyal" employees who are so willing to accomadate their every whim.

Too bad many employees aren't getting that, though. Why should a company pay more than minimum wage if they don't have to? That whole "profit maximization" thing.

Why should they offer healthcare benefits? Again, that whole "profit maximization" thing.

An economy that tailors to the corporation and the executives that run them and treating the employees like Bantha fodder is one doomed to fail.

Why do you pay $20000 for a car and $.30 for a pack of gum? Various goods and services have various prices.

If a company wants to attract employees it will offer a competitive wage. I love how liberals think they control the invisible hand of the free market.

Because we all know it takes the same skilled labor to design and assemble a car as it does a pack of gum.

Got a point to make? You're far from even approaching making a point.

What free market? I love how pro-corporate whores think corporations are the be-all, end-all of existence.

It is true, sadly enough, that companies have a right to pay pathetic wages to employees. Walmart has been shown to be one of these type places (I think it was already mention, but I'll provide a link if necessary). And, employee's do have the right to go somewhere else if they're not getting what they want.

That being said, I think it's pretty sad/pathetic/irresponsible/shameful/inconsiderate/hateful (take your pick, I've got more) that companies pay employees such small amounts at places like that. Consider Louisiana. My mother has a master's degree in education, 20 years of experience, and makes $31,000 a year, with not the best benefits, but not terrible. But for that type of experience and education, that is flat out ridiculous. She, and all other teachers, deserve better.

I'm not even a liberal, but I'll be the first to tell you that the things companies get away with, including employee pay in some cases, is pure highway robbery. I don't wish harm on Zendari or anyone else, but I do wish you could walk around the streets of New York City and see what I got to see for 2 years. People need help, and people need good employment with GOOD pay and GOOD benefits.

The price of a car is higher because the market will demand cars at a higher price. No single employer or store can artificially set the price of gum, or cars, or labor, in the competitive market.

Why do they deserve better? Are you willing to start a school and pay them better? Your mother also (presumably) works only 180 days a year.

Zendari has yet to share any of his actual experiences (social, schooling, work).

My bet is silver spoon, not out of jealousy, but saying he is out of touch with the average Joe.

My whole point in pushing this is that I don't represent the talking points of any political party, my views are based on my life experiences. I just want to find out how much of his view is personal experience or political policy.

You mean against the concept of GREED, don't you Mr. Dollar sign? I have nothing against a business making a profit, but it needs to take care of it's employees instead of being allowed to use them up and throw them away like they are nothing but toilet paper.

no Zensari, you dont get it. what these people want is their CEO to hold their hands and wrap them up in cozy little blankets. it's apparently HIS job to make sure they spend their money intelligently, and that they also plan ahead appropriately for their future. and whatever their CEO cant help them do, they want Uncle Sam to do it for them... and for everyone else too!

bah...SOFT i say... this entire country has grown SOFT! 49.9% of our nation are a bunch of Sallies who want to be coddled from birth until death.

So I suppose you are willing to have military pensions cut and privatized, veterans benefits cut and privatized. You wouldn't want Uncle Sam to do it for them, would you?
Let's cut all of the Halliburton contracts, and let them depend on the free market.

Zendari, would you mind posting your W2's along with what school and work experience you've had? Obviously you can edit out the sensitive information. I just want to know what kind of working experience you have, in regards to how employeers treat their employees? Also to what end is social security a burden on yourself?

What other company can do the work that Haliburton is doing in Iraq?

We don't know if another company can do the work that Halliburton is doing in Iraq-
BECAUSE THEY WERE GIVEN NO BID CONTRACTS.
