I just got this board from Newegg and I am not sure if it is a problem at all...but any help would be much appreciated.
Here is what I have.....
Soltek SL-NV400
XP1800 tbred B
512mb Crucial pc7200
80gb wd se
PNY GF3 Ti200
The problem i am having seems very minor but annoying.
After I first installed XP and tried to install the Nvidia drivers for the video card, I got a blank screen with a blinking cursor. It somehow got past it and installed the drivers ok. Afterwards...I noticed that everytime I go into the video setting or during the boot up process...in the Win XP screen....the monitor would flash a blue screen really quickly then go back to the normal screen...it flashes for a faction of a sec. At that point, I was running the system at 166FSB and default multiplier. I thought it might have been overheating so i tried to lower the FSB to 133. I'm still having the same issues. I'm lost as to what I can do to fix this problem.
I am afraid that I may have gotten a bad board....when I received my board....I noticed that the stickers that cover the AGP, CPU, and other sockets seemed like they were peeled off and put back on....i.e - the corners of the stickers were crumpled and messed up liek someone peeled the stickers using that corner.
Can anyone tell me what might be the cause of my problem and how I might be able to fix it...or should I just RMA the board?
Thanks in advance for the help.
