Can someone figure out why the clients on my network are suddenly unable to see each other? I had 2 NICS in the host PC, ( 1 NIC cable modem, one NIC switch) and all was fine. I changed the configuration by adding a router, so I now have modem:router:switch:clients. There is now only one active NIC in what was the host.
All comps have internet access, but only the former host can "see" the other comps on the network. THe other clients just hang with the flashlight as it tries to browse network neighborhood.
Can someone point me in the right direction here? Thanks for the help.
Edit: Solved my problem, and thought I'd might as well post solution. I had to specify the name of my workgroup in the LAN portion of the router software as the domain name. I also had to remove ICS from the former host, which should have occured to me first thing. A blonde moment, I guess!
